Birell Lootbox

Case study | 3D print

Birell 1

We have been approached by game developers Goodgame studios to develop a lootbox chest with old and shabby look and Birell branding.

The design process took one month. At the end, it was 30 parts printed and assembled, including functional hinges and rivets.

Post-processing consisted of airbrush, dry brush and chipping. Birell logos are backlighted, wiring and power source is hidden in the lid. Lootbox frame mimics old metal, internal parts mimic old wood.

To offer more premium look, we lined the entire interior with soft black fabric. Bottom part has an integrated holder for four Birell cans and the Orc‘s hand.

The Orc‘s hand. Modeled from real game footage sent by client. Proper greenskin colour scheme was achieved by advanced post-processing. Orc is holding a stamina potion with high quality leather branding.

Apollo productions can turn wild creative ideas into reality – quickly, efficiently, and with fine-tuned detail. We can rely on the fact that not only our clients but primarily the target audience will be more than satisfied with the final product. This was demonstrated with the collector‘s Lootboxes that Apollo produced for the Birell Active Gaming campaign.
